I was raised in Northern Virginia and played every sport they'd let me. I injured my low back/hip while playing baseball at Radford University in Virginia. I was treated by a chiropractor and it made such a difference that I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to help people stay active and healthy. I'm a sports medicine chiropractor and I practice in Boynton Beach, Fl. In practice I specialize in the treatment and prevention of injuries in athletes.
I'm certified as a Functional Rehab specialist, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a Titleist Performance Institute golf fitness specialist, an Active Release Technique provider as well as a former personal trainer. On this site I'm dedicated to providing people with access to the information they need to stay active, healthy and injury free. To contact me, email me at DrHoar@Mobility-4Life.com
My chiropractic story:
I was a Division one baseball player at Radford University when I started developing right sided low back pain and hip discomfort. The more I played, the worse it got. I saw doctors of all kinds and went to a chiropractor because I was willing to try anything. In on visit, this chiropractor was able to detect how my body wasn't moving, specifically instability of my pelvis and hip which led to joint and muscle restriction in the hip and lower back. The chiropractor performed manual therapies which were able to decrease the restriction in my lower body so I could start re-training and increasing the stability and control of my lower back to where I no longer had problems with it. I loved how I was able to walk into the chiropractors office feeling poorly, then leave the office feeling much better and I knew I wanted to be able to provide that. Years later Mobility 4 Life Chiropractor and Sports Medicine was founded in Boynton Beach, FL.
